The back pain is very severe in this condition, and a patient keeps changing position, or is in writhing pain when developing kidney stones. The location of pain changes from side to lower back due to the movement of the stone inside the body. Patient may also experience symptoms including blood in the urine, fever and chills, severe pain leading to nausea and vomiting, cloudy urine with back smelling, buring sensation while urinating, etc.
