Green leafy vegetable for kidney disease patients
Most of green leafy vegetables are rich in potassium. If patients have high potassium level (more than 5.3), they should limit the intake of some green leafy vegetables such as spinach and celery. High potassium levels in the blood may cause shortness of breath, abnormal heart rate and muscle weakness, etc.
Foods low in potassium
Fruits:Choose peaches, grapes, pears, cherries, apples, berries, pineapple, plums, tangerines, and watermelon
Vegetables: Choose broccoli, cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, celery, cucumber, eggplant, green and wax beans, lettuce, onion, peppers, watercress, zucchini, and yellow squash.
Only diet restriction is far from enough to treat Polycystic Kidney Disease because no certain food can help you shrink kidney cyst and improve kidney function.
In our hospital, Shijiazhuang Kidney Disease Hospital, we use traditional Chinese herbs. On one hand, the Chinese herbs can inhibit renal tubular epithelial cells from secreting fluid any more, thus cysts stopping grow. On the other hand, we choose herbal medicines that can increase blood circulation. If so, cyst fluid can be reabsorbed into blood vessels and discharged by kidneys as urine.
Commonly use therapies include Micro-Chinese Medicine Osmotherapy, Medicated Bath, Foot Bath and Acupuncture with Moxibustion. They are all external applications that can treat Polycystic Kidney Disease without surgery.
That’s how we shrink kidney cyst and improve kidney function by natural herbal medicines. If you are interested, you can contact with us freely.
